4-axis torque-controlled plate tightening press
Automatic station that tightens four axes independently with full torque traceability and separate load and unload stations to cut standstill time.
Division: GANI EngineeringWhat the machine does, and how it is run.
Where a plate is fastened at four points, the four cannot simply be tightened to the same number and forgotten. They interact: tightening one changes the load at the others, and a plate that ends up unevenly clamped will fret or leak long before its fasteners fail.
This station tightens all four axes independently through a torque controller, so each axis gets its own controlled result rather than a shared best guess. Every tightening is recorded, and the record is written into the customer ERP against the part — which is what turns a torque figure into traceability.
Loading and unloading happen at separate stations from the tightening, so the press is not idle while a part is being handled. For a plant that has to prove a joint years after it shipped, the record is worth as much as the cycle time.
