Burst test press
Guarded test press that takes pressurized rubber products to their limit under a programmable recipe, repeating the same procedure every time.
Division: GANI EngineeringWhat the machine does, and how it is run.
A burst test is destructive by design: it takes a pressurized rubber product past its working range to find where it actually lets go. It is also the test most often run inconsistently, because the pressure ramp is easy to apply by feel.
This press runs the ramp from a programmable recipe under proportional flow and pressure control, with precise position control alongside it, inside a guarded enclosure. The same procedure is applied to every specimen, which is what makes one batch comparable with the next.
Reports are detailed and go into the ERP record. A burst figure without the procedure that produced it proves very little; a burst figure with a recorded, repeated procedure is evidence a customer can use in their own approval.
