THE CHALLENGE

A museum in the Gulf asks two things of its building systems at once: keep galleries within a conservation window that barely moves, and do it in a building designed to breathe through five tall thermal towers. Add a construction site in 45 °C, imported equipment that must survive shipping and storage, and a commissioning window measured against an opening date — and the automation infrastructure becomes a documentation problem as much as an engineering one.

STARTING CONDITION

A mechanical and electrical design existed with a defined control philosophy. The panel design, the manufactured hardware and the field-level integration were open.
