What the machine does, and how it is run.
Every layered rubber product starts with sheet cut to a repeatable length. Cut it short and the layer does not close; cut it long and the overlap thickens the wall. On a hand-fed bench that tolerance is an operator skill, and it drifts across a shift.
This station takes the tolerance away from the operator. The length is set on the machine, and the cut repeats to that setting cycle after cycle across a rubber thickness of 0.4 to 1.4 mm. The carrier film the sheet arrives on is separated automatically, so nobody is peeling film by hand at line speed.
It is built to sit in line rather than beside it: the cut length is a setting the line owns, which is what allows a downstream winding or laying station to trust what it is fed. Where a customer runs several products off the same sheet stock, the change is a number, not a tool change.
