RFID forklift, pallet and shipping tracking
RFID readers on the forklift forks collect pallet, box and product identities, weigh the pallet, and sync plant entry and exit through RFID gates into ERP.
Division: GANI EngineeringWhat the machine does, and how it is run.
Warehouse data is usually collected by someone stopping to scan. That works until the plant is busy, which is exactly when it stops working, and the stock record starts to drift away from what is on the floor.
Here the readers are on the forklift forks. Picking a pallet up reads it: pallet, boxes and the products inside them are all identified in one movement, and the pallet is weighed at the same time. RFID gates at the plant entry and exit record what actually left and what actually arrived.
All of it syncs into the ERP without a separate scanning step, so the warehouse and shipping records are a by-product of moving material rather than a task competing with it. Nobody has to choose between working and recording.
