Lower part assembly and verification table

Large plastic trim parts are awkward to inspect. They flex, they are bigger than the operator can see at once, and the features that matter — brackets, rivets — are small and numerous relative to the part.

The table fixtures the part so it sits in a known position, then verifies the left and right bracket positions and each rivet point in turn, guiding the operator through them on an HMI. Cycle and identity are tracked, so the check belongs to a specific part rather than to a shift.

Checking point by point rather than by a final look is slower to describe and faster in practice — and it produces a record. When a vehicle plant asks whether a particular part was complete when it left, the station can answer.
