Automotive glass is unforgiving to handle. It is curved, it is heavy for its size, and the frame bonded to it has to end up in exactly the right relationship to the glass or the window will not fit the body.

This cell fixtures the rear window part — glass and frame — and presents it to robotic process steps inside a guarded envelope. A six-axis robot performs the process; the fixture holds the geometry, so the robot is working to the part rather than hunting for it.

Sensors verify the process rather than assuming it, and the safety fence and interlocks make the guarded envelope real rather than nominal. For a customer supplying a vehicle plant, a cell that can prove what it did to each part is worth more than one that is merely fast.

## Key features

- Six-axis robotic cell
- Curved glass and frame fixture
- Safety fence and interlocks
- Sensor-based process verification
