Packaging is where a plant discovers whether the rest of its line is really balanced. Product arrives in bursts, palletizing takes as long as it takes, and anything that cannot buffer between the two turns into an operator carrying bags.

This automation takes bagged product out of a guarded packaging cell, puts it onto a long main conveyor and routes it through side transfer stations to palletizing, at a line capacity in the 600 bags per hour class.

The long main conveyor is doing more than transport: it is the buffer that lets the packaging cell and the palletizing station run at their own rhythms without either one starving or blocking the other. The side transfers are what allow more than one palletizing destination off the same line.
