# Riser and floor distribution, Triangle tower, Paris

> Floor distribution and control panels for a tapering high-rise: one repeating panel concept engineered by GANI Engineering, produced floor after floor by GANI Manufacturing and released to a construction programme that never waited.

A high-rise is fed from risers that run the height of the building, with a distribution and control panel on each floor taking power and signals off that riser and serving the floor around it. This programme produced those floor panels — one repeating concept, built floor after floor.

In service each panel is the point where a floor is switched, protected, metered and monitored. A fault is isolated to one floor rather than to a section of the tower, and a floor can be commissioned and handed over while the floors above it are still being built.

The repetition is the engineering. Because the tower tapers, no two floors are identical in area, but the panel concept is: same layout, same terminal numbering, same documentation, so an electrician working on floor 30 finds what they learned on floor 12, and the construction programme is never waiting on a one-off design.

## Starting point

In a tower, the electrical infrastructure is a production line turned on its side: the same panel repeats floor after floor, the riser feeds it, and the construction programme decides when each floor is ready. Except nothing repeats exactly — the building tapers, so floor areas, loads and tenant splits change as you go up, and every variant still has to be documented, tested and delivered in the week it is needed.

A distribution concept and load schedule per floor band existed. Panel standardization, manufacture and the delivery rhythm did not.

## What we need from you

- Distribution concept and load schedule per floor band
- French installation requirements and the client technical specification
- Tenant metering and sub-billing requirements
- Riser and shaft coordination drawings
- Floor-by-floor construction programme with delivery dates

## Our scope

- Panel standardization: one concept, a controlled set of floor variants
- Detailed design and parts lists per variant, revision-controlled
- Series manufacture to IEC 61439 with French installation requirements applied
- Routine test per panel, records archived to the serial number
- Energy metering and control integration to the building management system
- Delivery released floor by floor against the construction programme

## Outcome

- Floor panels delivered to the programme rather than to a warehouse
- One documented concept instead of dozens of one-off boards
- Metering per tenant available from the first occupied floors
- Late floor changes absorbed as controlled variants, not redesigns
